Is My Service Record free for vehicle owners?

Yes. Owner accounts are free, and you can add multiple vehicles without paying.

Can any garage add service records?

Registered participating garages can add verified digital service entries for work they have carried out. Work completed elsewhere will not automatically appear on myservicerecord.

What happens if I change garages?

Service records already added to myservicerecord remain associated with the vehicle. A new participating garage can record future work it carries out.

Does a digital record replace my paper service book?

myservicerecord provides a digital record of entries added by participating garages. Keep your paper service book, invoices and other documents too, especially for work that has not been recorded on myservicerecord.

Will my vehicle have a complete service history?

Not necessarily. The history depends on the records added to myservicerecord and the vehicle, MOT and mileage data available. Gaps may remain, so check supporting documents and ask the seller or garage about missing information.
